About Our Plant

Anisa International has built the only large-scale American-owned brush plant in Tianjin, China. This state-of-the-art facility blends traditional Korean brush-making expertise, Chinese manufacturing efficiency and U.S. capital, management, design and quality control. Working with Anisa International is a partnership with an American company with international sales representation across the globe.

Anisa International is in compliance with major international social and environmental initiatives and certifications and has received numerous awards for positive business practices. Major cosmetic companies regularly audit the Anisa International plant, and we are one of the few brush companies that has passed L'Oréal's rigorous standards for social compliance. These high standards dictate our focus, which include providing a clean, safe, environment; fair working hours; and minimum age regulations for employment in our plant. Employees are awarded yearly, acknowledging workers for their dedication and service. Anisa International strives to create a positive workplace in all aspects, and the extremely high employee retention rate reflects this achievement.

As dedicated as Anisa International is to the working environment within the plant, we are just as focused on the impact our facility has on the environment surrounding it. Aluminum and other materials used during our manufacturing process are recycled, and we are continuously looking for innovative new ways to reduce our impact on the planet.

Anisa International Celebrates Eight Year Anniversary

On November 5, 2011, we were pleased to celebrate the eight-year anniversary of the manufacturing partnership with our plant in Tianjin, China. Anisa Cosmetic Applicators (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. is the fully integrated manufacturing facility of Anisa International, Inc., and is the only female, American-owned brush factory in China.

Festivities included "Lucky Prize" drawings for gifts, awards of bicycles for employees with perfect yearly attendance, speeches by both American, Korean and Chinese representatives, as well as a celebratory meal featuring traditional Chinese dishes. Another group of selected employees were rewarded with a trip to Hong Kong to attend the Cosmoprof Asia trade show, where Anisa International was an exhibitor.

In a speech addressing the employees, President Anisa Telwar celebrated the factors that have led to the company's success over the years. "First, we are still the leader in our product category, we are number one in what we do. Second, we are known for our creativity, our innovative design, and for our high quality. Our customers, clients, competitors in this industry respect our reputation and we are known for our strength and integrity. You can be proud that this is the work family that you belong to and will continue to belong to."

Both American and Asian employees enjoyed a traditional Chinese meal and the opportunity to further connect with their colleagues cross-culturally in celebration of their united achievements. This effective global collaboration is an attribution as to why Anisa International, Inc. is considered a premiere supplier for cosmetic brushes and accessories in the industry.
